Arthur Junior Eubanks, 69, of Charlottesville, died on Thursday, November 16, 2006 in his residence.
Born January 25, 1937 in Charlottesville, he was the son of Mary Currier of Charlottesville and the late Arthur Eubanks. He was also preceded in death by two daughters, Shirley Eubanks and Darlene Eubanks; and a brother, Percy Eubanks.
Arthur retired from Frank Ix and Sons in 1999 after twelve years of service. He was an avid fisherman.
Surviving him are his wife, Winonia Eubanks of Charlottesville; two daughters, Rebecca Eubanks of Buckingham County and Vivian Eubanks of Albemarle County; a step-daughter, Lisa Morris of Greene County; five sons, Wayne Eubanks of Richmond, Kenneth Eubanks of Richmond, George Eubanks of Appomattox, Robert Eubanks of Buckingham County, and Arthur Eubanks, Jr. of Albemarle County; two step-sons, Paul Morris of Louisa and Tommy Morris of Charlottesville; a brother, Franklin Eugene Eubanks; twenty four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 20, 2006 in the Free Union Church of the Brethren Cemetery with the Rev. Sidney Craig officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 8:00 pm on Sunday, November 19, 2006 in the Hill and Wood Funeral Home.
